An acrylic painting, made in 2002.
I just sold this painting, so I took a new photo of it before it went out the door.
The basic Idea behind this was to make a picture of some gods in their prehistoric state, a willendorfian Venus, and a neanderthallic Vulcan. I think this one was a long struggle to get painted- many false starts.
