A graphite drawing, with colored pencil and acrylic paint, made March 4th, 2007.
Tigra is from Marvel Comics. I've seen lots of pictures of Tigra where you can still see the ghost of the bikini model the artist used under the stripes, so this is me trying to draw her as an actual half tiger half woman, with the flexibility and strength you might expect from that combination. My basic idea was to do a Frazetta lady and big cat picture, except melded together. That was totally clear, right? |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
