This is how muscle women look. The thing that bothers me is when people draw Muscle women with big, floppy boobs. Those people obviously don't know that our boobs are made of fat, and therefor, wouldn't exist at all if a woman bulked up to this point without them being fake. (Even then, being fake, they wouldn't have any flex to them.)

Er-
Yeah, I have drawn the mucle women with big boobs as well. While aware of breast composition and the effects of rigourous dieting and excersize on them, I am also enough of a boob-geek to just draw them anyway, throwing realism to the winds.

Oh I know, I was meaning others out there. I did a search yesterday for 'muscle' under stock and 90% of it was muscle women with big floppy boobs. It was nasty.

You know, I'm not really into muscle women at all as a "hey that's super amazing" way, but your skill in what you draw is just amazing. Even though it'd be technically impossible for someone to look like that, you draw them with such an understanding of anatomy that they LOOK real. It's fantastic, really.

Well enough, but the piece is being inked, so there's a save in that. The usual tendency to squiggle and doodle once you realize you haven't the confidence to pull it off. It was the back of a hand tho'. Wanted to define the knuckles and tendons, but still have the necessary heavy shadow.

Sounds like you should look at Berni Wrightson for that kind of stuff.

Very true! And perhaps some Booth and Williamson. Really must start posting sketches and sketch-dumps here.

I wish I'd learned this stiff when I was younger, so it wouldn't be so hard to break old habits.

Amazing tutorials!!
