The Origin of Ms. Muscle
All Katherine “Katie” Roberts had wanted was to witness last night's meteor shower in the country with her friends.
But she would receive much more than she bargained for!
For it was no mere meteor shower, but a prelude to invasion!
Whirling spacecraft cut through the air above the burning forest, hunting the party of hikers like animals!
Their leader, an alien invader named Eye-Gorr the Conqueror, stalked the wreckage seeking the lost Power Source, and slew all who crossed his path!
None of the more able-bodied men were a match for this galactic tyrant and his robot minions.
Katie fled into the forest in hopes of reaching the neighboring town for help.
Racing through the trees towards the nearest light, Katie was astonished to discover the glow came from a massive, sizzling meteorite which glowed with unameable energies!
Unbeknownst to her, the towering monolith was the self-same power source Eye-Gorr was seeking.
Conventional wisdom would tell you to avoid any giant space stone that emitted a strange glow.
Unfortunately, a misplaced footstep caused Katie to stumble towards the meteorite- she broke her fall by grabbing hold of the monolith.
Upon contact, the gifted college student was infused with cosmic radiation, causing an astonishing metamorphosis to take place!
Immediately, Katie felt a massive surge of energy race from the meteor and into her body.
She had never felt pain like this in her entire life. Every nerve ending felt like it was set ablaze. Every inch of her being burned like a thousand exploding stars.
She tried to remove her hand but she was paralyzed by the radiation that flowed throughout her being!
Katie Screamed in agony as every muscle in her body began to throb violently. She could feel her very bones starting to crack. She thought the radiation was destroying her from the inside. But it could not be further from the truth. The strange energy inside her was altering her physical structure down to the cellular level. Katherine Roberts wasn't dying, she was changing. Every strand of muscle expanded and swelled in sharp bursts. Her bones grew to keep up with this astonishing metamorphosis. The only thing that was being destroyed was her clothing. Unable to contain the constant growth spurts, each article of clothing soon gave way. The seams on her pants split apart. Shoe leather burst open. Her red sweater unraveled while the blouse underneath was torn to shreds. With each passing second, Katie grew bigger... taller... And, as sudden as this startling transformation commenced, it quickly came to an end.
The mysterious energy granted her incredible strength and stature; transforming the petite young woman into a muscular maiden of might.* She could now uproot large trees with her bare hands, punch an unearthed boulder to pieces without injury, and cover great distances with a single leap.
Katie Roberts had achieved the dream of a lifetime; to become a super-heroine. And she would need her newly acquired abilities as the neighboring town would fall prey to Eye-Gorr and his forces.
