Pencil drawing made Jun 24th 2010, touched up and captioned in photoshop.
Illustration for ~Arsuf of a hypothetical scene for an epsiode of Rod Serling's Night Gallery titled "The Devil is not Mocked" showing the moment when the clock strikes midnight and the servants of Castle Dracula rise up and attack the German soldiers. [link](it is the last quarter of the episode, after the Leslie Nielsen bit)
This is why the SS seriously needed to stop fiddling with the occult during World War II (both historically and fictionally speaking). It literally bites you in the ass.
Yeah, it's just a shame that she didn't speak a word in the drama...else she would have been mentioned in the endcredits...not like today, when even walk-ons get mentioned. I've tried in vain to get info from several different H'wood websites, most don't even bother to acknowledge my emails. Guess I'm not one of the "beautiful Hollywood" crowd...but we all here at Deviantart sure appreciate the stunning wolflike beauty of the "Mocked" servant girl !!
HBO or some other cable network could produce a "Salute to Serling" series consisting of 4 or 6 sixty-minute updated episodes from the Twilight Zone/Night Gallery genre. "Mocked" would be a good one to upgrade, probably would be an R-rated show depicting the gory scene in the castle courtyard when the werewolves ran amok...perhaps a future commish for the Jedmeister to envision, hmmm ??
